American Co-operative of Small Businesses (ACOSB)

ACOSB aims to be a mission driven responsible “B Corp” type of entity that is a “no profit no loss” initiative for small businesses of America. We are in an initial formative stage and are looking for interim players to take the idea forward.

At Incuber Services LLP, we pledge to operate the portal at the lowest cost that is professionally operable for this set up. This is a: no profit, no loss, proposition.

Major lead providers like Home Advisor, Thumbtack, Craft Jack etc are multi million dollar for profit companies that sell leads on an average of about $40+. While large order services like additions, roofing or HVAC replacement etc may bear this cost of the leads, but for low to mid value services like maid cleaning, lawn mowing, plumbing etc it may be cost prohibitive.

Hence, we analyzed the Eco-system and concluded that while in the Google dominated web search era, it is impossible to survive, swimming with the sharks; but it is possible to do so collectively if every one of us were to pool resources from within our local zones to form a collective national force.

So the idea is to create an American co-operative of Small Business. We aim to be the Wikipedia of the lead generator machine for the members. No one would be excluded. The minimal services shall be absolutely free. However to meet our legitimate expenses of Servers, Software, and Developers etc, we shall charge an affordable fee to get exclusive rights to a zip code(s). The exclusivity shall be for a period of time and at every renewal period shall be available to others for competitive market forces. We shall publish the operative costs of the MarketPlace System every financial quarter so the members can see how they are befitted. While the future of tech giants and their profits is unknown, it is clear that there will always be room for the likes of Wikipedia, due to the concept of no profit no loss.

The web search results are rooted in the written content. As of now 99% of the searches are only possible from the digitized content due to the current technologies. Large lead generators employ content writers to fill their content repositories and hence be counted on page one.

On the other hand if we all collectively created this repository by each member at least within their own local areas (User generated content - example - Quora) then the cost is defrayed among us all and we all benefit from it collectively.

The membership is divided in three type
(1) Regular membership (RM) . Every legitimate business is entitled to one trade in one zip code. There is no limit to the number of regular members in a zip code.
(2)Special membership (SM). This is an upgraded membership for one trade within a zip code. Up to five members are permitted in a zip code, given on a first come first served basis.
(3)Exclusive membership (EM). This is an exclusive membership for one trade within a zip code, given on a first come first served basis.

How do you qualify for the membership? Each member in all classes are required to link back their websites to the Core site. Special membership may be attained by one of the following:
(a) Write a quality article that is has a DA of 4 or higher.
(b) Be an ambassador of our Products.
(c) Purchase a Pnapna subscription of $ 100.00 for six months or more. Multiple of six months each may be purchased.
(d) Pay $20.00 per six months.
Exclusive membership may be attained by one of the following:
(a) Write a quality article that is has a DA of 8 or higher.
(b) Be a subject of a case study to be published by us.
(c) Be a tester of our software for six months.
(e) Purchase a Pnapna subscription of $ 200.00 for six months or more. Multiple of six months each may be purchased.
(f) Pay $40 per six months.

What are the benefits of each class of membership? All leads in a specific zip code are routed to the exclusive member and unless the EM has confirmed receipt within 2 hours, the leads shall be routed to the next level of membership down line. Unless SM has confirmed receipt within 2 hours, the leads shall be routed to the next level of membership down line. Up to all 5 members shall be informed of these leads when EM has not accepted any of these leads.

EM are also entitled to leads in their trade for up to 30 miles of their primary zip code, if there is no other member subscribed to that zip code.

SM are also entitled to leads in their trade for up to 10 miles of their primary zip code, if there is no other member subscribed to that zip code.
